A theater artist and painter, people's artist of the Georgian SSR (1958), corresponding member of the USSR Academy of Arts (1958). He studied at the Tbilisi Academy of Arts (1925-1930) E. Lansere, I. A. Charlemagne and G. Gabashvili.

Soviet graphic artist, stage designer and painter, people's artist of the Georgian SSR (1958), corresponding member AH the USSR (1958). Member of the CPSU since 1947.

He studied at the Tbilisi Academy of arts (1925-30) at the E. E. Lansere, I. A. Charlemagne and G. Gabashvili; from 1938 he teaches there (since 1957 Professor).

For graphic works, Kobuladze is characterized by the attraction to heroic and romantic images, hammered, sculptural forms interpreted.

Graphic works: illustrations for Rustaveli's poem "knight in the Panther's skin" (paint, 1935-37;), to the tragedies of Shakespeare (gouache, charcoal, 1934-35), to the "Word about Igor's regiment" (gouache, 1939, edition of 1946).

Theatrical works: the design of the ballet "Raymonda" Glazunov at the Bolshoi theater of the USSR (1945), the Opera "the Legend of Tariel" Mshvelidze (1946; State prize of the USSR, 1947) and the ballet "Sinatle" Kiladze (1947; State prize of the USSR, 1948) in the Theater of Opera and ballet. Kobuladze, also works as a portraitist and landscape painter.

Awarded the order of Labor red banner and a medal.
