Born in the village of Petrykivka, Dnipropetrovsk oblast. In 1950 he graduated from the KHI, where his teachers were V. kostetskii and I. Shtilman. Exhibitor of numerous all-Union, Republican and international art exhibitions. Honored artist since 1972. Lived and worked in Kiev. Works are in private collections in Ukraine and abroad.
