Painter. Member of the Union of artists of the USSR.
(1906-1982) Poet, translator, literary critic, painter. He graduated from the faculty of painting of Moscow. VKhUTEMAS (1930). Student and friend of A. Osmerkin, also studied at I. Mashkov. Lived and worked in Moscow. After 1929 was engaged in literary labor. The author of poetic translations (of Shakespeare, Byron, Goethe, Schiller, Ronsard, etc.), articles about the work of the poets and the skill of the translator.
