Vasilyevich Mikita

Painter. Member of the Union of artists of the USSR. Honored artist of the Ukrainian SSR.

Born in the village of Rakoshyno, Zakarpatska oblast. He graduated from Uzhgorod College of applied arts. Studied at A. Erdeli, J. bokshay and F. Manaylo. Participant of regional, Republican, all-Union and international exhibitions since 1950. People's artist of Ukraine since 1991. Winner of the prize. I. bokshay and A. Erdeli (1995) and the National prize of Ukraine. T. Shevchenko (2005). 2004-academician of the Academy of Ukraine. Works in genres of portrait, landscape and still life. Are in the HM of Ukraine, Russia, Germany, Hungary, Lithuania etc.
