In 1971-1975 he studied at the art school №1 in Sverdlovsk. In 1975, he entered the picturesque pedagogical Department of the Sverdlovsk art College. He studied under the guidance of the painters G. S. Mosin, G. S. Meteleva and graphics V. D. Siskova.

In 1986-1992 he studied at the Academy of arts of the USSR/Russia in Leningrad (the faculty of E. E, Moiseenko, P. T. Fomin, S. D. Kichko, V. V. Zagonek).

Personal exhibitions took place in Saint-Petersburg (2003, 2004), Ekaterinburg (2007).
