(1922, p. Farladeni, the Penza region – 1998, Penza)

Graduated from the Penza art school (1949), and then the Kharkov art Institute. In 1955 a permanent participant of international, all-Union, Republican, zonal and regional art exhibitions. In 1955 – 1956 he worked as chief artist of the Omsk youth theatre. In 1956 was accepted as a member of the Union of artists of the USSR, worked as the Chairman of the Kemerovo branch of the Union of artists of the RSFSR (1957-1960).

He taught at the Kemerovo art school (1972-1975).

In 1978 – 1979 made a trip to BAM, under the impression which he created many works. Since 1979 he has lived and worked in Penza, taught at Penza art College named. Savitsky. Personal exhibitions of the artist were held in Penza (1982, 1985, 1995).

The work of V. E. Zubareva are in art galleries of Moscow, Pskov, in many collections in USA, Japan, Germany, Poland and Finland.
