Born in the village Maidanovo Palekh district, Ivanovo region. In the years 1966-1971 he studied at the Palekh art school. Teacher - N.M.Zinoviev, V. I. Golov, Yu. A. Brovkin. In 1971-1989, he worked at the Palekh art-production workshops. Themes of works: folklore, literature, genre scenes. Participant of exhibitions since 1975. V. A. Korovkina stored in the State Museum of Palekh art, HF Russia.
