Among his early works, stands out the project of a Monument to world suffering (1916), who embodied the characteristic features of the memorial plastics of modernity (the mourning figures that seem to "go" in pervosti stone). Remarkable for its bright, dynamic remarkable this list, his "money men" (pieces of a red army soldier, worker, peasant, of the sower, designed to reproduce on the notes; gypsum, 1922, Russian Museum; the bronze is in the Tretyakov gallery). A powerful expression of the image of the leader, as though to subdue the overbearing nature of oratorical gesture, stood out executed the monument to Vladimir Lenin at the Zemo-Avalski HPP in Georgia (1927; demolished in 1991). However, easel and figures Shadr, for example the famous figure fighting worker (cobblestone – the weapon of the proletariat, 1927, known in several castings), was originally the viewer in a kind of heroic monuments.
