Was born in Kaluga. Lived in Moscow (1922), studied at the Art Studio at SKH SSSR (from 1934) by A. T. Matveev, and L. R. Malko and MGHI (1937-1945) V. N. The domogatskiy, L. V. Sherwood and R. R. Iodko, and later by A. T. Matveev. During the great Patriotic war worked in the creative team of D. S. Moore. A member of the Moscow artists ' Union (since 1946). Worked in monumental, monumental-decorative and easel sculpture. The author of the sculptural group "the Wounded soldier from Budennovsk troops" (1955) and sculpted portraits of Alexander Nevsky (1946), M. V. Frunze (1966), S. M. Budyonny (1975 and 1982), A. V. Suvorov (1979), Voroshilov (1980), V. I. Chapaev (1980), Zhukov (1985). Animal painter, the largest in the Soviet monumental art specialist in the creation of equestrian monuments. The author of the monuments: G. I. Kotovsky in Kishinev (1954), M. V. Frunze, Bishkek (1967), K. E. Voroshilov, in Voroshilovgrad (1981). Participant of exhibitions (since 1946), as well as personal exhibitions (Moscow, 1969, 1984, 1990). In Kasli art castings produced his sculptural group "Bagration and Kutuzov" (1955), "Alexander Nevsky" (1956), "horses in the night" (1956), "Mare with foal" (1957), ashtray "Lying hound" (1965) and title "Greyhound" (1975).
