He was born and died in Kostroma. Studied at Kostroma art school (1946 – 1949)..P. Shleina, M. S. Kolesov, at the MIPIDI (1949 – 1953) p. P. Sokolov – Skal, higher school of industrial art (1954 – 1959) P. D. Buchkin and G. A. Savinov. A member of the artists Union of the USSR since 1968. Solo exhibitions were held in 1957, 1966, 1968, 1971, 1972, 1980, 1984 . Works are in museums of Kostroma, Tula, Novosibirsk and other cities.
Died in St. Tatiana's Day January 25, 1984.
