He was born and died in Chita. Painter, member. Artists Union of Russia (1967). During his school years he attended the art Studio of I. P. Sverkunova (1936-37). At the Novosibirsk military infantry school, he fought on fronts of the second world war, seriously wounded, demobilized in 1945. In 1946 he returned to Chita, he worked in the workshops of the Art Fund, took painting lessons from artists D. I. Ivanov and A. M. Fedotov. Participated in exhibitions since 1947 (mountains., region, zone, resp.). Worked in the genre of landscape, still life, portrait, faithful to the realistic tendencies in art. Works are in KOHM and CHARM. Awarded 2 orders and medals.
