In 1795 defined in the Academy of fine Arts. Received medals: in 1805 - 2 silver; in 1806, 1 silver and 2 gold for the program: "Coming to Kiev to great Prince Vladimir Monomakh of the Greek ambassadors with rich gifts"; in the same year, released with the diploma of 2 degrees. (Kondakov)
