Volumetric Cubism and Art Tectonics by Leonid Feodor
Even if, according to the controversial hypothesis of Omphalos and the cheerful assurances of creationists, it is true that Adam and Eve had no navel at creation, all the trees in Eden were without year rings, and the world was created in six days by a bearded grandfather at the clap of a single palm - all of this is a beautiful assemblage of Stefan Zweig's fundamental thesis that every true creation grows out of the dark humus of failed creations.
Leonid Feodor - Honored Artist of Russia, professor, venerable coryphaeus of all kinds of creative associations and unions. President of the Russian branch of the Eurasian Art Union. Since 2006, the creator and head of the Museum of Russian Culture ... and as a weighty bonus behind all this rolls a small carriage loaded with no less epic regalia and titles.
Theodore is multifaceted and inquisitive in his search for fresh art historical concepts. He manages from an unexpected turn, tenaciously capturing the viewer's attention, masterfully, time after time, to string the slumbering common man's consciousness on the intricacy of his philosophical thoughts. And at some point you suddenly catch yourself that his work "Svyatoslav 2" intuitively, at the level of "broken DNA" emotionally echoes the famous "Guernica" by Pablo Picasso.
Above the entrance to his studio, the succinct thesis "Metamorphosis - Transformation - Transfiguration" is engraved in gold monograms and he follows the flow of singularly exciting ideas and intuitively brings them to his constantly searching and perceptive viewer.
The bright opening of the exhibition will take place on December 16 at 19:00 in the ArtMaison gallery. And the diversity of the author's creative role, during the coming week from December 16 to 22, will be revealed like new chapters of a fascinating, long-awaited novel.
