Studied at LSHS (up to 1939) V. A. Gorb, A. Debler and IRA (1946 – 1952) in M. I. Avilov. His diploma painting – "Veterinary doctor in a collective farm" is now located in the Vologda regional picture gallery. Participant of exhibitions since 1939. The author of "Karelian landscape" (1952), "North" (1956), "On the Neva" (1957) and others.
