Member of USSR Union of artists since 1961 was Born in the town of Kadnikov. Graduated from Moscow state art Institute. V. I. Surikov. He headed the Union of artists of the Vologda region. In Sokol history Museum holds a portrait of his daughter N. In. Baskakova. In recent years, the artist lives and works in Vologda.
