Painter, graphic artist. Honored worker of arts of Ukraine (from 1970). B. 6 October 1901 in the village of Russkaya Lozovaya, Kharkov region. now — um. 22 Jul 1996 in Kharkiv. Graduated from Kharkiv art Institute (1923-29), where he studied with M. Sharonov, A. Coquelles, S. Prokhorova. Member of the Association of modern artists of Ukraine, HO UAU from 1938. The participant of Republican, all-Union and international exhibitions since 1932. Personal exhibitions: Kharkiv — 1971,1997. Taught in HHI-hhpi in 1929, was its rector.
Painter and graphic artist. Born in Kharkiv. In 1924 – 1929 he studied at HHI A. Coquelles, N. Samokisha, M. Sharonov. In 1929 – 1930 he was a member of the T-VA modern masters of Ukraine. From 1927 he participated in exhibitions. He exposed his works at international exhibitions in Poland (1959), Germany (1960), Austria (1963) and others In 1934 and 1952, held a personal exhibition in Kharkiv. Taught in HHI 1929 – 1941 and 1943, since 1960 – Professor. The honored worker of arts of the USSR in 1970. Author of portraits, historical and genre compositions. Created a series of color lithographs, dedicated to T. Shevchenko. Works are in the namu, the Kharkiv HMM, the Kiev Museum of Russian art.
