Ivanovich Gogiashvili

Born 2 (14) Dec 1878 in Tbilisi, Georgia. In 1901-06, he studied at the Tiflis Art school. Among the many drawings of Gogiashvili scenes of peasant life, landscapes, sketches of architectural monuments of Georgia, to illustrate the works of Vazha Pshavela, Chavchavadze I., R. Eristavi. A number of drawings dedicated to the Revolution of 1905-07 in Georgia (the"station in Guria, who had taken refuge in the woods", "Massacre", both - 1906, art Museum of Georgia, Tbilisi).

Died in Tiflis on 28 December (12 January n. V.) in 1908.
