Born in the village of Anagram, Zhytomyr province. In 1939 – 1949 he studied at KHI, G. Svetlitskiy. Taught at KHI (1949 – 1952). From 1949 he participated in exhibitions, he wrote mostly landscapes. In 1972, in Kiev held a personal exhibition dedicated to the 65 anniversary from the birthday of the artist. Work is represented in the State Museum of Taras Shevchenko, Lviv and Dnepropetrovsk HMM.
