Born in the village of Verheecke the Perm region. In 1927-1929 he studied at the Perm art-pedagogical school. In 1929-1930 he studied at the Leningrad Vhuteine. 1930-1934 - after converting higher art and technical Institute moved to Moscow, where he continued his studies at the Moscow pedagogical Institute. In 1935-1938 he studied at the Moscow Institute of fine arts at V. A. Favorsky, A. D. Goncharov, L. A. Bruni, A. M. Husyatyn, M. S. Rodionov. In 1938-1939, the artistic editor of the publishing house "Art". In 1939-1941 - graphic artist Voenizdat, Gospolitizdat. In 1942-1943 he worked in the Studio agitplakata in Perm. 1943 - member of the artists Union. In 1943-1947 - graphic artist at the Perm book publishing house. In 1947-1948 - graphic artist at the publishing house "Foreign literature", Voenizdat, Gospolitizdat. Since 1946 a member of more than 100 all-Union, Republican and Moscow exhibitions.
