The main theme of creativity of Vladimir Nikolayevich Lebedev – the heroism of the soldiers of the great Patriotic war. Most famous works: "storm the Reichstag", "Match", "Call the fire itself", "the Liberation of Gzhatsk", "Soldiers ' letters", "the Memorial prayer for the missing."
Themes of mother nature and post-war reconstruction and the construction of Moscow was also reflected in the works of V. N. Lebedev.
