Born in 1936 in Perevalsk, Voroshilovgrad region
(Ukraine).
He graduated from the Yelets art school in 1956, the Belarusian theatre and art Institute (1966). Studied with V. Sorokina,
I. Akhremchik, V. Zwirki, H. Livshits.
