Painter and watercolorist.He graduated in 1842 the course of the Academy of Arts with the title of class artist, in 1846 recognized as assigned to the Academy, and in 1853 was awarded the title of academician for the watercolor portrait of Rassiga; taught drawing and perspective in Mountain building; of his works are known for academic reports: the portraits of Mr. Boas — oil paints and the doctor Bar (1855), sketches for the painting "the Finnic fair in Kolpino" (1856), a watercolour copy of a painting Fedotov "the Arrival of the groom" — by order of the Society for the encouragement of artists (1858), some watercolor paintings for the Mountain Institute and the different photographic establishments (1859); 17 watercolor portraits; 4 decorations in the form of photographic backgrounds for the same institutions: Schulz at Tsarskoye Selo, Butrimovich in Pavlovsk and its own (1861); 15 portraits; two more groups of two figures for he Markov and Blotner, two views of the Usov's house in St. Petersburg (at the corner of 13 lines, with the Neva river and the Marine corps) by order of Secova (1862); 7 and 9 medallions waist portraits; two further portraits in the growth — with Englishman Texton in the Yakut costume, and one girl in hryhorivs'ka little piece; the image on the theme of "God save the King and hearken unto us" — commissioned by FR. For presentation of the Zinoviev Petrograd. The Finland regiment in Warsaw led. kN. Konstantin Nikolaevich in memory of rescue of His Highness (1863); portrait in oil-colours gene.
