Born in the city of Kasli. Graduated from RU No. 18 (1947). He studied in Nizhny Tagil, in UHPW G. I. Kichigina M. P. Kramskoy (1947-1952), where he taught (1951-1954) and Kasli GPTU № 18 (1954-1975). He worked as a sculptor on CCLS (1954), was the chief sculptor KMZ (1975-1985), and with the abolition of this post (1985) – a senior sculptor. A member of the artists Union of the USSR (1960). Member of industrial and art exhibitions (since 1944), including city, regional, zonal, all-Russian, all-Union, global and personal. More than 40 of his works were reproduced in cast iron Kasli plant. Created a series of portrait busts of the sculptors and craftsmen of Kasli art casting (1980-1985). Fruitfully worked in the field of monumental, easel and memorial sculpture, decorative-applied art. The author of the busts of M. D. Kanaeva, N. R. Bach, K. A. Klodt for a memorial in Calah (1986-1987). Awarded the order "badge of Honor" (1965), the medal "Veteran of labor" (1985). Laureate of all-Union competition of technical creativity of youth in Moscow (1971); has 3 gold, 4 silver and one bronze medal VDNH USSR.
