Born in the village of Lyapunova Kurtin district of Moscow region. In 1970 he obtained the diploma of the USSR Union of artists at the exhibition dedicated to the centenary of Lenin's birth. Personal exhibitions: Moscow House of Nationalities – 2003 V. V. Maslov are in private collections in Russia, USA, Italy, France.
