Born in 1939 in the Kirov.
He studied at the Gorky art College.
In 1965 he joined the faculty of HTOP (artistic and technical design of printed products), MPI, graduated with honors in 1970 with a degree in graphic. Studied at P. G. Zakharov, A. D. Goncharov, V. N. Lyakhova. In 1975 he defended his thesis on "the decoration of the Soviet magazines." From 1977 to 1988 he was Dean of THTOP, head. Department RIC, head.Department of illustration and print.
Since 1988 member of the Union of artists. Participant of Moscow, zonal, Republican, all-Russia, art exhibitions. Works in the genres of easel painting, graphics, illustration.
