Painter. Member of the Union of artists of the USSR. Honored art worker and laureate of the State prize of Mordovia, honoured artist of Russia.
Born in the city of Alatyr of the Chuvash Republic.
Education: Penza pedagogical College of art (1940).
A member of the artists Union since 1943. He served in the Pacific Navy (1940-1946).. Lived in Alatyr (1946-1956), Saransk (1956-1997).
Since 1956 he lived in Saransk. He painted portraits, landscapes, still lifes, designed and illustrated children's books published Mordovian book publishing house. Many of his paintings are in museums the city of Alatyr and Cheboksary.
Major works: “Seeing the Pacific fleet to the front,” “My school teacher (N..Kamenshikov)”, “Happy”, etc.
