He graduated in 1939 the Institute of painting,sculpture and architecture in Leningrad.He worked in the front brigades during the war. For many years he taught at the art schools of Leningrad. Participant of many regional and zonal exhibitions. The artist's works are kept in the Museum of history of Leningrad , Military historical Museum of the city.
