He lived in Moscow. He painted portraits, landscapes, still lifes, themed paintings. The author of the paintings: "the Stratosphere" (1934), "the January uprising in Locomotive car repair plant in Kiev. 1918" (1935), "a new man was Born (in the hospital)" (1938), "Requiem (the tomb of Lenin)" (1938-1939, options — 1965-1967, 1967-1968), "during the war. 1941 (washing)" (1943), "In the workshop of the sculptor N. V. Tomsk" (1951), "did not!" (1953-1954), "George hall in the Kremlin" (1958-1959), "Lenin on the Champ de Mars" (1955-1968), "1941 year" (1967-1968), "On leave" (1972), "No mercy for the traitor" (1972), "Partisans" (1974); portraits: Bolshevik F. Y. Kohn (1935-1936), physicist L. D. Landau (1937), the writer K. A. Fedin (1937-1938), the poet V. I. Lebedev-Kumach (1938), test pilot Ya. Moses (1937-1938); a series of landscapes "Brest fortress" 1963-1965).
In 1920-40-e drawing for the newspaper "Komsomolskaya Pravda", "Pravda", "Peasant newspaper", "Uchitelskaya Gazeta". In 1941-1943 he worked in the "Windows TASS". Was engaged in book graphics.
1934 — participant of exhibitions (exhibition of young artists of Moscow). Member of the Union of artists of the USSR. He exposed his works at exhibitions of: paintings of Moscow artists in Yalta (1937), "XX years of the red army and Navy" (1938), all-Union exhibition of young artists dedicated to the 20th anniversary of the Komsomol (1939), all-Union art exhibition (1951), exhibition of Moscow artists (1954, 1960, 1962, 1974), "socialist Moscow in works of Moscow artists" (1957), art exhibition for the 25th anniversary of the defeat of Nazi troops near Moscow (1966), works of artists of Moscow, dedicated to the 100th anniversary of the birth of V. I. Lenin (1972), Moscow artists — war veterans (1973) in Moscow, "the Kuibyshev region, in the days of the Patriotic war" in Kuibyshev (1944).
Work is represented in many Museum collections, including the State Literary Museum, Moscow Museum, Samara regional art Museum and others.
