august 5 - 21 in the exhibition halls of the Primorsky State Picture Gallery (12 Partizansky Avenue) there will be an exhibition of the best works of the VI Far Eastern photo contest "Depth of field". The opening ceremony of the exhibition and awarding of the contest winners will be held on August 4 at 18.00.
Viewers will see dizzying bird's-eye views, simple human stories, photographs of unique wild animals of the Far East region, and the immense beauty of our Motherland captured in photography. All the contest works were taken in the Far East in 2021-2022.
The exhibition will feature 66 best photographs by 48 established and young authors, selected by a panel of experts from over a thousand applications. Applications were received from eight regions of the Far East and major Russian cities (Moscow, St. Petersburg, Sochi). Amateur associations (photo clubs) in Primorsky and Khabarovsk regions, including children's photo clubs, took an active part in the contest. The youngest participant of the contest is only 4 years old.
The organizer of the photo contest is the State Autonomous Institution "Primorsky Krai Center of Folk Culture" supported by the Ministry of Culture and Archives of Primorsky Krai. The photo contest is timed to the 150th birthday anniversary of Vladimir Klavdievich Arsenyev and the Year of Cultural Heritage of the Peoples of Russia.
No age limit.
