Pattern Stamp is a very special world. This is the world of myths, legends, feelings born in the soul of the artist. In childhood, the mark ill is not the beauty of the bright sky, green grass, and chaos abstract radiation accidents of life. In 1980 he enrolled in a watchmaking school, works at a factory and serving in the Soviet Navy in the Northern Fleet. And only in 1987, mark once again returned to painting and drawing and was admitted to the Moscow pedagogical Institute named after V. I. Lenin on art-graphic faculty. While studying at the Institute, however, as of now, the main art for themselves, he believes freedom of expression.
Mark Makarov is a versatile artist, painter, easel designer, Illustrator.
His figurative vision of the world that is romantic, grotesque, but the main line of his work - people, looking in the very essence of life. He writes his own myths and legends: "Huntsman", "Journey to Egypt", "Birds" - all his works bear the stamp of boundless imagination of the artist.
Many of the images Mark is so unusual that the viewer is sometimes hard to "read". For a full understanding of his work requires some erudition, knowledge of history, philosophy, and the presence of imagination. And yet we should not conclude that his work was not available to the inexperienced viewer. With its formal decisions and expressive patterns it is able to attract the attention of those art lovers who see everything only through the prism of emotions.
Mark likes to work in series, in which he tries to Express its theme to the end, to develop it and understand. It's graphic series "Destiny", "Profile", "Puppets", "Philosophers" and others. Graphic loops flow smoothly into paintings and begin to live on the canvas its own life.
