Luis Dalmau (Spanish Luis Dalmau, approx. 1400, Valencia — 1460, Barcelona) — Spanish (Catalan) painter of the era of late Gothic.
Was court painter to Alfonso V. of his request in 1431-1436 visited Flanders, where he became acquainted with Flemish painting, particularly the works of Jan van Eyck. This discovery has had a decisive influence on Catalan art, making him the Flemish influence and the technique of oil painting.
