Born in the city of Ordzhonikidze. In 1939 - 1940 he studied at the Moscow Central industrial art Institute, from 1945 to 1949 he was at the Moscow art Institute. V. I. Surikov under the guidance of P. I. Suvorova and P. Y. Pavlinov. A member of the artists Union of the USSR since 1951 and In 1960 was awarded the title of honoured art worker. artist of the North Ossetian ASSR. VOV, he has government awards. Participant of the I all-Union Congress of Soviet artists (1957), II and III congresses of the Union of artists of the RSFSR and the 28th session of the Academy of the USSR. From 1966 to 1969 he was a member of the exhibition Committee zonal zone, "Soviet South". In 1973 he moved to Angarsk, Irkutsk region. From 1976 to 1980 he taught at the Irkutsk College of arts, ceramic Department.
