He was born April 10, 1953 in the city of Kolomna in Moscow region. In 1966 began studying in the art Studio of the Pioneer of Kolomna (head of N.And. Bodryagin).
He studied at the Ryazan art school (1968-1972, professors A. V. Khokhlov, V. E. Kurakin); at the Moscow state art Institute. V. I. Surikov (1977-1983); in the Studio of monumental painting (Professor K. A. Tutevol).
Since 1983 works as a teacher in the Ryazan art school. Member of the Union of artists of Russia since 1986 member of regional, zonal, Republican, all-Union and foreign exhibitions.
Korsakov's works are in art museums of Ryazan, Tula, the Directorate of art exhibitions of the Union of artists of Russia, private collections in Russia and abroad (Germany, France, Canada, Vietnam).
