Painter. He graduated from the Lviv Institute of applied and decorative arts, where he studied with R. Rural R. I. bokshay and Silvestrov (1953). The member of Union of artists (1954). Honored artist of Ukraine (1996). The winner of the National prize. Shevchenko (1999). Lives and works in Lviv. The basic principle of his art - not to make copies of nature, and to reveal what is in it powerful and healthy. Painting with intense color, expressive brushwork conveys the reality from the perspective of modern European painting, which directly expresses a feeling.
