Born in 1961 in Moscow. He graduated from the Moscow state art Institute named after V. I. Surikov in 1989. From 1992 to 1995 he trained in the creative workshop of the Russian Academy of arts (the head — A. P. Tkachev).
In the Studio of military artists named after M. B. Grekov in 1996.
In 2001, awarded by Patriarch Alexy diploma and the medal "For sacrificial service".
