As Alessandro (Italian. Alessandro di Cristofano di Lorenzo del Bronzino Allori; 31 may 1535 — 22 September 1607) was an Italian (Florentine) painter, representative of mannerism.

Pupil of his uncle, Agnolo Bronzino, and is therefore often called Alessandro Bronzino, the artist is very talented, but exposed to the strong influence of Michelangelo. The influence of mannerism is particularly evident in his religious paintings, conditional and rigid in design and sharp in color. Talent As brighter as his fine, carefully executed portraits.

The most important of his works: "Baptism of Christ", "the Sacrifice of Isaac", the portraits of Giuliano de 'Medici, Bianca Capello, of the artist (all five in the Uffizi gallery, Florence), portrait of cardinal Ferdinando de' Medici (Palazzo Pitti), "Nativity" (in the Church of Santissima Annunziata), "Christ with Martha and Mary" (Vienna Museum), "Bathsheba in the bath" and a portrait of a young man (in the Hermitage).

His son, Cristofano As was also an artist.
