Was born in Moscow. Honored Artist Of Russia. The Student Of The Russian Academy Of Arts. Awarded a medal "Worthy" of the Russian Academy of Arts.
In 1975 he graduated from Moscow State Art Institute. V. I. Surikov. From 1978-1981, he interned in the Creative workshops of the Russian Academy of Arts headed by A. P. and S. P. Tkachev.
Since 1983 works in the Studio of military artists to them. M. B. Grekova.
Landmark works of creativity of A. I. Fedorov are paintings "Ataman M. I. Platov" (1989), "Portrait of P. A. Rumyantsev-Zadunaisky" (1993), "Pskov" (2004).
