B. September 28, 1904 in the city of Borzna, now Chernihiv region - mind. 11 Aug 1974 in Kharkov. Graduated from the Kharkov public Institute (1922-29), where he studied with I. Padalka, V. Ermilova, M. Fedorov. A member HO UAU from 1938. The participant of Republican and international exhibitions since 1927. Personal exhibitions: Kharkiv - 1966,1983, Cincinnati (USA) - 1991. Taught at the Kharkiv polygraphic Institute (1934-36), Kharkiv art Institute (1931-37, with interruptions; associate Professor since 1935), he worked in publishing houses (1937-41), the chamber of Commerce and the manufacturing workshops of the CP of the USSR in Kharkov (1949-53).
