B. in Kursk. Interest in the profession of the artist showed in high school. In 1935 - 1938 he studied at the Orel art College in N. N. Moravskeho, then I. S. Goryushkin-Sorokopudov at the Penza art College (1938 - 1939). Thesis D. was sketches for the play "Othello" by William Shakespeare. After several years working as a theatre artist, he enrolled at the sculpture faculty of the Academy of arts in Leningrad (1946 - 1952), and also worked as a restorer at the Russian Museum. As the thesis has been completed model of the monument to V. G. Belinsky. From 1958 D. lives in Moscow, works in the field of monumental and easel sculpture. Among his works are the monuments to the heroes of labour and war veterans, artists, and decorative compositions, small plastic. D. works with different materials (bronze, wrought copper, granite, concrete, plaster, ceramics, faience), trying to identify and defeat the expressive possibilities of each of them. The works of the sculptor does not affect the intricacy of the composition or turbulent dynamics, they are constructive, complete, emotionally restrained. It is these qualities, first and foremost, restraint, give the scale of the sculptures D.
Monumental and decorative sculpture D. decorate the corners of Moscow, Saransk, Great Bow, Krasnoturyinsk, Sal'sk and other cities. Easel, his works are in the State. The Tretyakov gallery, the State. The Russian Museum, the Lviv art gallery and other museums in the country. Kursk art gallery named after A. A. Deineka belong to: "Korean - pickers signatures for peace", 1951, bronze; "Lying", 1959, ceramic; Swimmers, 1979, pottery, glaze; "Portrait of Hero of Socialist Labor combiner Demeeva D. S.", 1956, bronze. Kursk Museum of local lore D. gave the mask of M. S. Shchepkin of wrought copper. On the facade of the House-Museum of Yefim Mikhailovich Cheptsov in Medvenka a bronze plaque work. (gift of author). D. regularly participates in exhibitions, competitions, last competition - monuments A. Feta 1991 - 1992 (Kursk) and M. Tsvetaeva in 1993 (Moscow).
