Born in the city of Kumertau Bashkir ASSR. Younger brother Val.M.Uskova. From 1981 to 1986, he studied at the Palekh art school. Teachers - A. V. Borunov, V. I. Golov. In 1988-1989 worked at the Palekh art-production workshops.
Was engaged in monumental painting. Themes of works: folklore, literature, genre scenes. Participant of exhibitions since 1990. The works of V. M. Uskova are stored in museums: the State Museum of Palekh art, the all-Russian Museum of decorative-applied and folk art.
