In 1944 46гг was Chairman of the Board Vladimir branch of the Union of artists of the USSR, then returned to Moscow.

Born in 1908 in Sterlitamak, died in 1971. Studied in 1933-1939 at the Russian Academy of arts under I. I. Brodsky and V. Yakovlev. Participant of art exhibitions since 1939. Major works: "portrait of an old farmer" (1948), "Kutuzov on the Borodino field" (1954, MK RSFSR), "L. N. Tolstoy and I. S. Turgenev" (1958, MK RSFSR), a series of portraits of cultural figures (1960-ies).
