He was born in Donetsk. In 1973 he graduated from the pedagogical Department of the Crimean art College, in 1979 the art Department of VGIK (workshop of A. Borisova, L. Platov). Since 1979 he works for to/from "Mosfilm": the artist-designer, 1982 — artistic Director. Designer (together. D. as Bogorodskaya) of the play "Ladies and hussars" (1997, Kursk drama theatre. Pushkin).
