1945 – entered the Ural school of industrial art (now the Ural College of applied art), Nizhniy Tagil in the Department of "Sculpture". Teachers - P. M. Kramskoy, A. E. Bernhard. In 1950 – 1952 To continue his studies, went to Moscow and entered the Moscow Institute of decorative and applied arts. 1952, September 1, 1956, July 5, In connection with the transfer of this Institute in Leningrad, and attended 4 years at the Leningrad Higher art and pedagogical College named after V. I. Mukhina teacher - R. K. Taurit and V. A. Obolenskii. 1956, July – Defends his graduation work – "the javelin thrower" (figure) for the stadium design in the city of Zlatoust, Chelyabinsk region with the mark "excellent". Member of the Union of artists of Russia since 1961.

Taught: 1956 – 1959 in 1974-1999 at the Ural College of applied art, Nizhni Tagil, 1959-1974 in Nizhny Tagil state pedagogical Institute art-graphic faculty, 1963-1974 – Dean of the art-graphic faculty . 1974-1979 – Director of the Ural school of applied art.
