A. P. Konstantinov - the constant participant of city art exhibitions
1960s – 2003. The creative legacy of the artist greatly. It's mostly graphic works - watercolors, pen drawings, pencil, gouache, mixed media...
His favorite genres are landscape and portrait. They manifest a keen sense of color, ability of the painter. A variety of color palettes in a small size work-tick reflects his nature – colorful, emotional, life-loving.....
The flowering of his art came in the 1960 – 1970s, Then they were written hundreds of sketches with the types of angles old Borovichi, a lot of portraits. It captures a bygone time is valuable in itself.
Interesting ink drawings. They are United in the series: "Sleeping city", "My contemporaries", "the Guests of our city", "My Hobbies", "Hostile world," "Surprises of life"... Ironic series "the Whims of the XX century", polusharnirnye portraits from the series
"Literary group "KI" reveal another facet of the artist and the person – ambiguous, contradictory, and rather caustic, sarcastic – not by chance, he wrote epigrams.
Of particular note are a series of self-portraits. Every person in varying degrees, directed to themselves, and only creative people especially. A. P. in this regard is unique: he drew always – in the years of adolescence, youth, maturity, good "nature" was at hand. On portraits it's different from young men to Mature man, a spectacular "MAG brush", "dark genius", a wise philosopher, and poet... was it the same? It doesn't matter. So he wanted to see itself, and to leave in history.
From Borovichi Museum of local history A. P. Konstantinov linked decades of cooperation. He left interesting memoirs of Borovichi creative people - artists, poets, wrote verses, often impromptu, not forcing yourself to change something, work on form, and the poetry he loved, knew and felt fine, like
music, theater, cinema...
Loved to write and receive letters. His archive became the property of the Museum.
The last posthumous exhibition of the artist worked in the Borovichi Museum in 2006.
