Pavlovich Ovcharenko

Honored artist of Ukraine (1960). B. 1 November 1906 in the town of Merefa, Kharkiv region. now - um. 10 Nov 1976 in Kharkiv. The participant of the great Patriotic war. Graduated from the Kharkov public Institute (1925-29), where he studied with M. Burachek, O. Khvostenko-Khvostov. A member HO UAU from 1938. The participant of Republican and all-Union exhibitions since 1940. Solo exhibitions: Kharkov - 1977. Worked as a teacher, HHI-hhpi (1931-76), associate Professor (1940).
