The artist's son. Studied his craft at the Imperial Academy of arts (1813-1824), under the leadership of P. E. Dobrokhotova and K. A. Leberecht; during the passage of the academic year was awarded three silver medals, and upon its completion, in 1824, composed and carved in stone program "Daedalus and Icarus", awarded a small gold medal. After that, he served at the Saint Petersburg mint (from 1843 is a senior, and since 1848 — chief medalist).
The thread on steel medallions of count F. P. Tolstoy scenes from the Patriotic war of 1812-1814[1] received from the Emperor Nicholas I's diamond ring. This work was Klepikova, on behalf of Metternich, considered in Vienna by the famous Ludwig Pickler, who gave them a very flattering opinion. From other works Klepikova most famous carved in stone the portraits of the ladies of the Imperial family, a way of crowning the mother of God, cut on the Topaz, to Panagia of Archimandrite Photius, and the front side of the coin for the opening of the Nicholas bridge.
