Folk artist of Russia (1987). He was born may 19, 1951 in the city of Mariinsk of the Kemerovo region. In 1968-1971, he studied at art school im. V. I. Surikov in Krasnoyarsk. Birch bark is engaged since 1975, teacher says V. A. Dunaev. Participant of exhibitions since 1985. In 1987 was awarded the title of national master. Participated in international exhibitions in India, Spain, USA.
