1960-66 student of Tbilisi State University, worked in the field of experimental physics. From childhood he became interested in painting, he studied at the TGAH with V. Shukhaev. 70s-80s lived in Abkhazia. The participant of many exhibitions in Abkhazia, Russia and abroad. Member of the Artists' Union of Georgia since 1976, member of the Artists' Union of the USSR since 1986. Since 1993 - member of the Artists' Union of St. Petersburg. Works are in museums and private collections in Russia and abroad.
