The son of a railway employee.In the 1920s the family moved to Prague. He took private lessons from Professor O. Needy.Participated in a group exhibition of students Needy and the exhibitions of the Union of Russian artists in Czechoslovakia. In the 1930s moved to Paris,attended the Academy F. Colarossi. In 1950 he held a personal exhibition of Vladimir Lazarev.
