Ivan Nikolaevich Pavlov (5 (17) March 1872, the village Popovka of the Kashirsky district of the Tula province — August 30, 1951, Moscow) — Russian and Soviet engraver and painter, people's artist of the RSFSR (1943), member of the Academy of arts of the USSR (1947). Worked in the technique of tone engravings, one of the first approved a new form of printmaking in which the master engraver is an independent artist.

Studied at the Central school of technical drawing Stieglitz in the Drawing school of the Society for the encouragement of arts, Studio of V. V. mate (1891-1892) in St. Petersburg.

Taught at the Stroganov art-industrial College (1907-1914), Art school when the lithographic printing partnership I. D. Sytina (1915), Free art workshops — VHUTEMAS (1917-1922) in Moscow. Students: V. I. Sokolov, M. V. Matorin, P. O. Taiga-Cheshuina.

Member of the Association of artists of revolutionary Russia (AHRR) in 1925, member of the Academy of arts of the USSR since 1947.

Repin, 1895), from the late 1900s — mostly original easel colored woodcuts and linocuts ("Ostankino", 1909; "the Elevator came", 1925; series "Old Moscow", 1944-47). State prize of the USSR (1943). Awarded the order of Labor red banner and medals.
